Baltic Warrior is an ideal support ship for diving operations, her extra wide beam (10m) makes her a very stable platform to work from. There is ample clear deck space for additional equipment. The ship carries over 350m of anchor cable, so can anchor in relatively deep water.

The ship's main engine is very economical. She can cruise at 10kts covering 240 miles in a day using less than 2.5 tons of fuel.

She is fitted with a Grove crane with a max lift of 9 tons or 1.5 tons at full extension (6m). The crane is very useful for loading heavy equipment on board, moving items about the deck, or recovering gear from over the side.

Heavy items can also be either lowered to or raised from the sea bed over the stern using the ships hydraulic towing winch in conjunction with an ‘A’ frame. The winch has a lifting capacity of 24 tons.

In addition to the above equipment the ship has its own full size twin lock re-compression chamber, which can be carried on board when operations involve deeper or long duration dives. ( Please note the chamber is stored ashore so we would need reasonable notice if it is required on the ship).

The Baltic Warrior also has a very well equipped fast rescue RIB, ideal for transferring crews between ships, or for recovering divers from the water.

The ship can provide comfortable accommodation for up to eight divers if required. This can be useful when working in remote locations.
