Tug Baltic Warrior Crew
The permanent crew of the Baltic Warrior, shown below, comprise the Captain, Eamon Guerrini, an Engineer, a Chief Steward and two Deckhands. To this permanent complement can be added further crew according to your requirements
Owner and Relief Captain
Eamon Guerrini
Eamon the Captain and owner of the Baltic Warrior and is an engineer and an Ocean Yacht master. He spent thirteen years in the armed forces and has over twenty years experience at sea.
He also spent over four years as a technical studies teacher and house parent in a GLC boarding school for students with learning disabilities.
He has also been a professional DJ and company director of a sound company. Eamon is a multi skilled individual, fluent in Thai.
Captain
Martin Anderson
Martin has over thirty years at sea and holds a 7000 tonne ocean going ticket. he started his maritime career as a fisherman in Ireland before tug boats and has towed ships and barges all over the world.
First Mate
Bob Nicholson
Bob has many years experience at sea and was previously Captain of Seletar, a smaller vessel also operating out of Ramsgate
In addition to being responsible for communications, electronics and navigation, he doubles up as ship's secretary and official photographer.
He is also one of the worst pool players in the world and has never, in thousands of games, beaten Captain Eamon.
Chief Engineer
Alan Bucol
Alan is from Philippines and has been on Baltic Warrior since 2006. He is a registered seafarer, qualifying as an engineer in 1999.
In May 2006, he obtained the Certification of Chief Engineer, issued by the Philippines professional Regulation Commission.
Alan also has qualifications in watch keeping, boat handling, first aid, sea survival, safety, rescue boat, advanced fire fighting, and maritime English for officers.
Alan also provides the entertainment on Baltic Warrior by pa lying the guitar.
Chief Steward
Duan Guerrini
Duan, is married to the Captain, Eamon. She was born in Pechit, a province in Central Thailand. Eamon and Duan have been together for 11 years and have a house in Thailand.
Duan is an excellent cook, specialising, of course, in Thai food. Her duties include Cook and general housekeeping on Baltic Warrior.
Deck Hands
Ervi Mandac
Ervi is an Able Seaman who studied at the College of Marine Transportation in the Philippines. He has qualifications in watch keeping, navigation, first aid, sea survival, safety, rescue boat, advanced fire fighting, and maritime English for ratings.
Ervi joined the crew of Baltic Warrior in 2006. He is the Assistant Cook. His duties also include watch keeping whilst at sea, assisting the Chief Engineer, and general ship's maintenance, especially the care of towing equipment and has shown a flair for splicing ropes and cables.
Rey Guro
Rey is an Able Seaman who studied at the Philippine Seafarer's Training Centre. He has qualifications in watch keeping, navigation, first aid, sea survival, safety, rescue boat, advanced fire fighting, and maritime English for ratings.
Rey joined the crew of Baltic Warrior in 2006 and his duties include watch keeping whilst at sea, assisting the Chief Engineer, and general ship's maintenance.
